CLINICS
The Coastal Elite Racing Team hosts weekly regional clinics for advanced and intermediate Optimist sailors. These clinics, centrally located at the Toms River Yacht Club, are led by Head Coach Mike Dowd.
- September - November: Open to new CERT members
- March - May: Closed to new members
- June - August: Application only
REGATTAS
CERT participates in most major national and regional events across the USA, including:
- US Nationals
- New England Championship
- New Jersey State Championship
- Atlantic Coast Championships
- LYC Team Race
- Midwinter Championship
- Orange Bowl International Regatta
- Team Racing Midwinter Championship
- Sunshine State Championship
- US Team Trials
- Saint Thomas International Regatta
COST
Clinic Fees:
$140 per sailor, per day
Regatta Fees:
$150-$180 per day
Regatta fees are collected separately and vary based on participation and event expenses.
Deposits for regattas will be requested 2-4 weeks prior to each event.
